Blessing Boxes

A Blessing Box is a "mini-food pantry". When the food pantry is not open, the Blessing Boxes may supplement some essentials.

The idea is simple:

Take what you need. Leave what you can.

It means that those who leave items are blessed enough to be able to do so, and that those who need to take items, are blessed that the items are there to take. All items are non-perishable and are free for the taking. Thanks to all who made these Blessing Boxes a reality!

Locations: East side of Lecompton United Methodist Church; Lecompton Elementary

LUMC Clothes Closet

We are happy to accept donations anytime. They can be left at the building marked "Clothes Closet". If you would like to volunteer, come to the Clothes Closet on the first and/or third Saturdays and we will put you to work!

Open the third Saturday of each month from 8:00 am to noon for those living in the Perry Lecompton school district or in the 66050 zip code area*.

We are located on the 3rd floor of the Lecompton Pride Building.

If there is an urgent need and those times don't work for you, we can meet families at an appointed time.
